Don't seduce me

Don't seduce me, if you're not the one I'm looking for,
if we are alike, just because you act well,
don't say how much you're worth and what you expect,
if you can't say what you offer besides beauty.

In essence, seduction is an act of deception,
we win by selling the best version of ourselves,
sometimes we get lost in that love game,
anything can be revealed when the image is scratched.

If I surrender, love will cloud my mind,
I won't be able to see your flaws,
to discern what is good or bad for me
I won't be able to, without your support.

That's why I'm telling you, don't seduce me, if you're not the one
who will bring the imaginary girl from my dreams to life,
if because of me you can't stay true to yourself,
if the story breaks, we will blame each other.
