In your eyes, my soul loses itself,
I've been crazy about your lips for a long time,
I want to give you my love,
but you don't know it — nor can you.
That I love you, I still haven’t told you,
I truly don't know what I've been waiting for until now,
when you’re always on my mind,
yet to admit the truth to you, I'm afraid.
My behavior tells you everything,
though we play at being just friends,
when you're near, there is unrest in my heart,
if you were mine, mine would be the universe.
Shyness, sadly, is my nature,
I write poems in which I am your love,
yet not a single one finds its way to you,
a heart in love does not know what to do.
