Jelena

I confessed my love to you as a joke,
and you took the joke seriously,
to my mischievous game of love
you responded with true love.

You wanted my love unconditionally,
and I thought you were still a child,
now I'm starting to miss you,
the years without you are slowly taking revenge.

I finally realized my mistake,
but you are no longer beside me,
the trace of your love still lives in me,
surely you have become a beautiful woman.

I miss you very much, Jelena,
and I suffer endlessly for you,
I'd give up my own brother,
just so I could bring you back to me.
